Restored: the 1912 photograph, rendered in color.

Chandler River stewards family legacy as a kind of wealth: the stories, the know-how and the small businesses we inherit from those before us and carry forward to those who come next.

Built to last, like the stone. Steady direction over quick wins.

The story behind the name

Chandler River takes its name from Chandler’s River, the river and settlement in Plantation No. 22 that were named for their first settler, Judah Chandler. His descendants carry that legacy through the generations. We build on their idea and make our own mark.
